Uneccessary hype for Oscar to AR Rahman

    • I am happy because it made him (ARR) happy. What else can I say.
    • The movie is not natural. Indian cultural emotions are displaced by British sarcastic humour. I don’t understand why people from poor country will only have negative thoughts. Besides, this is not his best music. He has done far better works before.
    • I repeat. I am happy because it made him happy. What else can I say.

I do agree that it was an unnecessary hype...and that this was not his best piece of work...but among the movies elected for oscars...I believe that it was better than the rest...hence the oscars.....but movie itself was bit tooo over rated....thats b'coz its British based.

the hype is because this was the first tyme an indian won it.. there is always hype wen some1 bcums the first indian to achieve it.. remember abhinav bindra??
if u r askin whether it was worthy 4 an oscar.. well this tyme there wasnt any better background score.. n we'll hav to ask the selectors only..
